Pep Guardiola heaped huge praise on his players’ ‘incredible’ start as Manchester City regained their place at the top of the Premier League.The Citizens beat Fulham 2-0 in convincing fashion at Craven Cottage thanks to early goals from Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero.2

Speaking after the game, Guardiola said: When youve just had an international break and you have the first game at 12:30pm on a sunny day and Fulham with the position theyre in we could have had the wrong approach.But the way we started in the first 15-20 minutes was incredible not just for the goals we scored but we created chances and we were outstanding.After that the game was more calm, we created chances to score the second.I know how difficult it was for Liverpool to win here for Chelsea to win here so we know it. The Premier League is so tough.2
