Liverpool news: Herbie Kane named in League One Team of the Season as Doncaster fans hail ‘special player’
The EFL League One Team of the Season has been named and one player who received some big plaudits was on loan Liverpool starlet Herbie Kane.The midfielder, 20, has been impressive for Doncaster Rovers this year with seven goals and nine assists in midfielder for Donny having been on the long list for the Golden Boy award last July.Some fans from his parent club aren’t so sure about his ability to make an impact on Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad, believing he is set for a Championship loan next to test how far he can move up the league ladder.But Rovers supporters are adamant the talented player, one of the most dangerous passers in the division, is set to be a big star in the future having got his career on the right road at the Keepmoat Stadium.You can see what the reaction was to his Team of the Season award below.
