Jurgen Klopp admitted there was still more work to do in their Champions League quarter-final clash with Porto.Liverpool won 2-0 at Anfield in the first leg on Tuesday but the German may have felt his side could be taking a bigger advantage into the second leg.2

The Reds went two goals up after 24 minutes and it looked like it may be heading for a repeat of the 5-0 thrashing they gave Porto last February.The chances for Klopps side dried up in the second half but they did not concede an away goal and take a big advantage into the second leg.Speaking in his press conference after the game, the Liverpool boss said: It was a good game. We controlled it and deserved the win 100 per cent. A really good performance.2

Klopp praised Jordan Henderson’s performance

We had to work really hard to defend their counter-attacks. All good, 2-0. The game is still on. We have to go there and fight.We didnt have as many chances as we would have liked in the second half. We had to do a lot of work to win the ball back.In Portugal last year we finished our chances, tonight we didnt. We are very good at counter-attacks, we know that. There is still a lot to do and it will be a difficult atmosphere over there. Klopp was also full of praise for his Liverpool players for their individual performances.Hendo is a brilliant player, he added. He obviously likes the position. Weve not used him there for three-and-a-half years. Sorry about that! Im glad he can show it. A lot of good individual performances.Naby (Keita) was really, really good. He got better minute by minute and he continued that.Milly (James Milner) played left-back was the first time in a long time and he was fantastic.
